Meet Gilberto and Zulma, our implementing partners from Concepción, Paraguay. Together with their three-generation family and 25 employees, they run a farm of 2,000 cows, but with a different approach than what’s typical in the region.

🐄🌳With their Silvopastoral Agroforestry approach, Gilberto and Zulma are pioneers in the region, exploring the benefits of a more integrated system on a climate resilient landscape that also enhances animal health, meat quality, as well as biodiversity of their land.

Our project ForestalRíoAquidabán is based on a BenefitSharing Agreement with the implementing partner, allowing Gilberto’s family to directly participate in the revenue from the Carbon Removals.
This is what climate action looks like in reality.
