PIONEER

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION SINCE THE 1970S

When DR. Manfred Vohrer finished his studies in the late 1970s, he wrote his doctoral thesis about „the integration of external costs into economic system“ which at the time, was an exotic view of the world. He believed that only when nature has an economic value, true sustainability can be achieved. With this vision he entered German national politics in 1972, and later in the year 2000 founded global-woods company after exiting his political career.
