Impactful things happen when companies thrive in the same business/startup ecosystem 🌱
Both Capacities and Global Woods are part of the Grünhof startup community in Freiburg, and that’s exactly where this partnership started.
Capacities is creating a digital tool for knowledge work, helping people structure and connect ideas into a powerful personal knowledge system.
They are quite different from what we usually do, but this collaboration shows how a shared effort for the environment can unite very different worlds.
Capacities decided to address their residual emissions by supporting carbon removal from Global Woods’ reforestation project, Forestal RĂo Aquidabán (read also: https://lnkd.in/d7Swp2ZD).
What we like about this collaboration: it didn’t come from a large corporate program.
It emerged from a local startup ecosystem.
Grünhof has become a central hub for founders in Freiburg, connecting entrepreneurs, investors, and ideas. Being part of that environment makes it easier for impact-driven companies to find each other and collaborate 🚀
