We are thrilled to announce our partnership with biometrio.earth a pioneering multinational startup dedicated to bringing radical transparency and high integrity to nature-based solutions and biodiversity assessments.

During a recent visit to our project area, we saw firsthand how rich and vibrant the ecosystem is—birds and mammals thriving compared to the surrounding landscape. But capturing this richness in data (or even in photos!) proved challenging— Friedrich Scherzinger spent 40 minutes trying to photograph a monkey, only to end up with a blurry shot! 🐒📸 That’s when we knew we needed a more structured, science-backed approach.

With biometrio.earth, we will be monitoring both the project site and a reference area, allowing us to track biodiversity gains over time with digital tools  and AI-driven insights.  With their holistic approach combining remote sensing, on-site sensors, and self-learning AI, we can now scientifically quantify the biodiversity benefits of our forest projects. With a strong foothold in Mexico, biometrio.earth is at the forefront of scalable, digital biodiversity assessments in Latin America, making it a perfect match for our work.

At Global Woods, we take pride in being pioneers on the ground, maintaining close relationships with local stakeholders and ensuring that conservation efforts translate into real impact. By partnering with biometrio.earth, we are strengthening our biodiversity monitoring —combining cutting-edge technology with deep local expertise.

We’re excited about this collaboration and can’t wait to see the results! Stay tuned for more updates. 🌎💚
